Village People
Formerly known as Spadina Heights, Forest Hill Village was born when it was incorporated in 1923 and named after the summer home of local businessman and butcher John Wickson. The village is a buzzing centre with quaint independent stores and bustling coffee shops and eateries. Newer hotspots like the Aroma Espresso Bar are interspersed with institutions like The Forest Hill Barber Shop, founded in 1931. Lonsdale Gallery offers painting, sculpture and photography exhibitions from Canadian and international artists.
